What time is the event?
Let’s Explore the Cayman Islands with Mermaid Melissa will be held during the afternoon on Sunday. Specific event times are given to those that have reserved seating through the quiz. (The community encouraged to come for lunch.)
How can I get tickets?
There are no tickets for sale- Reserved seating opportunities are no longer available through the quiz- This is free to attend and if you would like seating, we suggest arriving at the venue by 12:30pm

Will there be food served?
The venue, Paradise Seaside Grill is a full service restaurant that will offer guests the opportunity to order from their lunch menu. CI/US Dollars and Credit cards are accepted. Each table will be responsible for their (purchases of) food and beverage orders. (No outside food or beverages will be permitted onsite)
What should be expected at the event?
This is a relaxed community event for family and friends, residents and visitors. Feel free to join us, enjoy lunch and swim with your kids.
There will be face painting by Paradise Pixies, coral painting and thatch demonstrations during lunch as we await Mermaid Melissa’s arrival. Local vendors may be onsite selling cold, refreshing coconut water.
There water equipment rental shop outside the Paradise Seaside Grill restaurant will be open to rent guests full snorkel gear that includes a water safety vest at discounted pricing (Usually USD$18.00 – however will be available for USD$10 or CI$8.00 per set). Guests are encouraged to bring their swimmers, floaters, hats, sunscreen, towels and a set of dry clothes.
Who will be watching the children?
Parents/Guardians are expected to be with, supervise and maintain their children’s safety at all times. The organisers, hosts, venue and performers are not responsible in any way for the safety of your child.
Can photos be taken?
Yes, you may take personal photos. Please be aware that this event will be photographed and video recorded for later use. Local media may be onsite.
